To some, this may seem like an incredibly boring topic. I'll admit, I once thought that too. One of photography's greatest, Bernard Gillette, has taken me under his wing to teach me how to see.
I have fallen in love with photography because it allows you to step into another world. I have come to find that one of the worlds I love most, is the world of lines, shapes, and patterns. We often ignore these things in every day life: a storm drain, a street lamp, cracks in the pavement. But, if you look a little more closely, you will begin to see the beauty in things that don't seem so pretty. You too, will begin to see.
