WEEK ONE: SELF

PHOTO NUMBER THREE: EYES

Photo 3/365 is focused around my eyes. When I was little, if you asked me what color my eyes were, I would always say green. While I still admire green and blue eyes, I have come to love my own. It's funny how you always want what you don't have.   Today, I spent my time working with Bernard Gillette, who has been kind enough to each me about photography so that I can become, "a photographer instead of a picture taker." I've been learning about the behavior of light so that I can better control the outcome of my photos. He has given me some studio lighting to bring home with me so that I can practice on my own. I can't wait to see what I come up with as I learn more. As I practice, I will be bombarding y'all with photos, but, for now, here are my eyeballs featuring this faux fur.
